Live Concert with Maider ​​

The Labortana singer Maider Cigarroa, better known artistically as Maider, will offer a concert in New York after Canada. 'Biran den lasaia' is the title of the album that she released last March and that she has been presenting to date in the Basque Country and Europe, and now also in the Diaspora. On the tour, the first of her solo career - she was previously part of the groups 'Haizean' and 'Hiru soinu' - she will be accompanied on the piano by Xabi León. In NY, the event will be at 7:00 p.m. at the Eusko Etxea, on Saturday, September 14th.

Celebrating Euskal Diasporaren Eguna

 In addition to presenting the songs from her album 'Biran den lasaia', Maider will perform a selection of popular Basque songs in her American concerts, promoting public participation. In a recent interview for Euskal Kultura she highlighted: “Since I was little, I have had the dream of getting to know Euskal Etxeak abroad and interacting with Basque around the world. I think it is beautiful to cultivate our shared culture and feelings, I think it is important to know each other and reaffirm our common roots”.
